John Yunga - Grid & Structure (Updated Version)
Reflection
My grid represents a triangular gird as seen in my drawing and my structure is the pattern on each triangle from the gird. This pattern really matches with my triangle grid because if I used another grid then it would look strange and it wouldn't match the pattern , overall it wouldn't stand out compared to the triangular grid. My grid also contains the variation bending because the pattern is based on the reading and it clearly shows that the pattern bends and returns back into it's normal state, not changing the size or shape. I would have shaded the pattern in more but I realized that it would cover the gird, and it would make the grid less visible, this is why I shaded in the grid more than the pattern. My challenges was firstly to make the grid itself because I had to make all of the triangles precise and the same size, this is why the lines below each triangle have a more darker tone due to me trying to use a ruler, so all triangles can look the same. My final challenge was the pattern because I tried to make all of them in the same column match up, so they would look neat and as stated before I tried to not shaded them took much or they will stand out better than the actual grid. Overall, this drawing is a bit more precise and accurate than my other one because my other grid had shapes bigger than each other defying the purpose of a gird. So, I really enjoyed this drawing better than my past drawing and I feel this grid stands more.
